Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Eagles vs. North County Knights

The Northeast Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the North County Knights at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

North County is hoping to do what Lewis couldn't on Monday: put an end to Northeast's winning streak (dating back to last season), which now stands at 16 games. Northeast simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lewis 86-49.

Meanwhile, North County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Long Reach on Monday, but they still walked away with a 69-65 victory. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly four points.

The win made it two in a row for North County and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Northeast, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Northeast strolled past North County in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 54-38. Does Northeast have another victory up their sleeve, or will North County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
