Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millard North). They put the hurt on the Westview Wolverines with a sharp 8-1 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Millard North with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Westview from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Amir Muhitdinov led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Millard North's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Westview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Millard North didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Buena Vista on the 25th. As for Westview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln High at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lincoln High will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Westview surely won't give up without a fight.
