Soccer Recap: Lugoff-Elgin Takes a Loss

Lugoff-Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buford Yellow Jackets. The Demons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellow Jackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.

Lugoff-Elgin's goal came courtesy of Eli Branham, which was the first he's scored this season.

Lugoff-Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Buford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lugoff-Elgin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Camden on the 3rd. As for Buford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against York on the 3rd.
