Softball Recap: Wilmington Comes Up Short

Wilmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Brown Broncos. If the Hurricane were looking for revenge after losing 12-10 to the Broncos when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wilmington now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Western Brown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wilmington is set to take on their familiar foe Goshen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Western Brown will face off against rival Clinton-Massie at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
