North Murray had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 48-44 win over the Rockmart Yellowjackets on Wednesday. This was payback for the Mountaineers, who suffered a 46-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

North Murray's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 5-14. As for Rockmart, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
