After a string of four wins, KIPP King's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Menlo-Atherton Bears.

KIPP King's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Menlo-Atherton, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Coincidentally, KIPP King and Menlo-Atherton will both be playing Galileo the next time they take the court. KIPP King will head out to face Galileo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Menlo-Atherton will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
