Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Colton Caldwell stepped things up a notch to give Appalachian the 'W'. Caldwell threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, which was good enough to set a new career-high in passing touchdowns.

Caldwell and Appalachian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shoals Christian at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
