Basketball Game Preview: Morris Redskins vs. LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers

The Morris Redskins will challenge the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morris has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the fourth.

Morris lost 67-41 to Sycamore on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 455th, while the Spartans are ranked 174th).

Meanwhile, LaSalle-Peru's game on Wednesday was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 56-40 bruising from Dixon. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

LaSalle-Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Morris, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
