Softball Game Preview: Fresno Christian Eagles vs. Caruthers Blue Raiders

Fresno Christian hasn't had much luck against Caruthers recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Blue Raiders at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fresno Christian has three straight victories, Caruthers has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Thursday, Fresno Christian made easy work of Parlier and carried off a 10-3 win.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Caruthers' offense. They lost 17-0 to Fowler on Wednesday.

Fresno Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Caruthers, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Fresno Christian might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from Caruthers in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
