Softball Recap: Comanche Takes a Loss

If Comanche was feeling good fresh off their 30-14 takedown of Millsap on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Peaster Greyhounds on Monday, falling 11-1. The Indians have struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Comanche saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassandra Rangel, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Comanche's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Peaster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Comanche is set to take on their familiar foe Tolar at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peaster will challenge rival Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
