Englewood is 8-1 against Fort Lupton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pirates will challenge the Bluedevils at 4:30 p.m. Englewood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

On Wednesday, Englewood and Alameda finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Englewood's goal came courtesy of Jaqeuline Valente Guerrero, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-1 to Bennett. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Fort Lupton were already down 4-1.

Fort Lupton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. With that draw, Englewood's record moves to 2-1-2.

Englewood came out on top in a nail-biter against Fort Lupton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
