Volleyball Recap: Williamsville South Victorious

Williamsville South won the last time they faced Cathedral Prep and things went their way on Saturday too. The Billies came out on top against the Ramblers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Billies.

Colette Speros and Kamryn Resurreccion certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Speros had eight digs, five kills, and one block, while Resurreccion had ten assists and seven digs. Speros is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Williamsville South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cathedral Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1.

Williamsville South will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Portville at 6:30 p.m. on October 23. As for Cathedral Prep, they will welcome Clarion-Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
