Basketball Recap: Woodland Hills Comes Up Short

Woodland Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 55-41 to the William Penn Bearcats. The game marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

William Penn's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nasir Barnes, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Warde, who had nine points.

Woodland Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for William Penn, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
