After a string of three wins, Lynn's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 13-7 to the Athens Bible Trojans.

Kyler Jordan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Sherer, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and one run.

Lynn's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Athens Bible, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Lynn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Hubbertville on the 21st. As for Athens Bible, they will square off against Cornersville at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
