Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Peachtree Ridge's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Peachtree Ridge won the last time they faced Parkview and things went their way on Friday too. The Peachtree Ridge Lions put the hurt on the Parkview Panthers with a sharp 68-47 win. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Panthers are ranked 359th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Peachtree Ridge is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
