Volleyball Recap: McArthur Comes Up Short

McArthur lost against South Broward back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mustangs haven't been shut out since back in March.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for McArthur and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for South Broward, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McArthur will square off against Plantation at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Colonels at the right time seeing as the Colonels are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Broward, they are taking a road trip to challenge Western at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
