Football Game Preview: Seymour Wildcats vs. Ansonia Chargers + Official Tickets

Seymour hasn't had much luck against Ansonia recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Chargers at 6:30 p.m.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Seymour and Woodland Regional have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The contest between the Wildcats and the Hawks didn't end well, with the Wildcats falling 28-14. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Ansonia waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 34-33 W against the Greyhounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seymour fell to 9-1. As for Ansonia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Seymour was able to grind out a solid win over Ansonia when the teams last played back in September, winning 21-14. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
