Southern Alamance is 3-0 against Person since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Southern Alamance Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Person Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Southern Alamance comes in on three and Person on 12.

If Person heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Southern Alamance took over last week. Southern Alamance came out on top in a nail-biter against Cedar Ridge on Friday, sneaking past 51-49.

Meanwhile, Person was able to grind out a solid victory over Northern Durham on Friday, taking the game 65-52. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Knights are ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Person's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Southern Alamance, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Southern Alamance beat Person 77-70 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Southern Alamance have another victory up their sleeve, or will Person turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
