Baseball Recap: Northwest Classen Takes a Loss

Northwest Classen entered their match against Capitol Hill on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Northwest Classen lost 8-1 to Capitol Hill. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Northwest Classen's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Capitol Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Classen will take on Union at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest Classen is facing Union at the right time seeing as Union is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Capitol Hill, they will head out to square off against Westmoore at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Westmoore's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Capitol Hill's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
