Basketball Recap: John Marshall Piles Up the Points Against Freeman

John Marshall won the last time they faced Freeman and things went their way on Tuesday too. The John Marshall Justices simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Freeman Mavericks 87-48. The Justices have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

John Marshall was led to victory by Aiden Argabright and Latrell Allmond. Argabright posted 19 points along with eight steals and five assists, while Allmond went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Allmond's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Henderson, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points.

John Marshall's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.2 points per game. As for Freeman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

John Marshall will host St. Christopher's at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in St. Christopher's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches. As for Freeman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-39 defeat against Hermitage on the 23rd.
