Chloe Gaydeski Game Report: vs Ilwaco

Chloe Gaydeski posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

Gaydeski's strong effort led Forks over Ilwaco and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are a perfect 9-0 against the Fishermen going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
