Basketball Recap: Forest Hills Central Takes a Loss

Forest Hills Central lost against East Grand Rapids back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Forest Hills Central Rangers came up short against the East Grand Rapids Pioneers, falling 45-23. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Pioneers are ranked 106th).

Forest Hills Central's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for East Grand Rapids, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Forest Hills Central will square off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Grand Rapids, they will challenge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
