Perhaps the best among them was Jimmy Edwards, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 72 yards. San Angelo Central also got a significant boost from Zeyvion Johnson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Southlake Carroll over Crowley in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Dragons blew the Eagles out of the water with a 35-0 final score. Fans of the Dragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

San Angelo Central better keep an eye on Angelo Renda. He was instrumental in Southlake Carroll's win, throwing for 212 yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 64 yards and one score on only six carries. Brock Boyd was Renda's top target, picking up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown.
