Baseball Recap: Canon City Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Canon City can now relate to. They fell just short of the Palisade Bulldogs by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 10th.

Canon City's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Palisade, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Canon City nor Palisade have any future games scheduled.
