Newell won the last time they faced New Underwood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Irrigators came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Irrigators.

Newell had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-20.
