Volleyball Recap: Arroyo Comes Up Short

Arroyo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rio Hondo Prep Kares, falling 3-0. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Kares from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-15.

Arroyo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rio Hondo Prep, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Arroyo will venture away from home to take on Bassett at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Rio Hondo Prep, they will host Marshall at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
