Baseball Recap: Union County Finds Home Field Redemption Against West Port

There's no place like home for Union County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Port Wolf Pack on Thursday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fightin' Tigers have posted since February 27th.

The team relied heavily on Trenton Klein, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Union County's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 8-13 when he doesn't).
