Timber Creek won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Timber Creek Falcons had just enough and edged the Northwest Texans out 2-1. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Texans are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Timber Creek and bumps their season record up to 8-2-2. As for Northwest, they dropped their record down to 2-8-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
