Volleyball Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Comes Up Short

Brashier Middle College Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Landrum Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.

Kate Smith was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Ella Gosnell, who had four digs and four aces.

Brashier Middle College Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Landrum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-2 record this season.
