Oakwood Christian posted their closest victory since September 11th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Warriors back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Oakwood Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-14, 15-12.

With the win, Oakwood Christian broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 12-14. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season.

Oakwood Christian will venture away from home to face off against Unity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they will welcome Sonoraville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
