Baseball Game Preview: Gosnell Pirates vs. Highland Rebels

For the second straight game, Gosnell will face off against Highland. The Pirates will challenge the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Gosnell has won seven straight at home, while Highland won nine straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

While Gosnell's victory against Highland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates skirted past the Rebels 3-1. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

For Highland's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Sinclair, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Sinclair's first of the season.

Gosnell's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Highland, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1.
