Nokomis entered their tilt with Mt. Olive on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 59-32 victory over the Mt. Olive Wildcats. The Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Nokomis found their leader in sophomore Alivia Sabol, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Those 21 points gave Sabol a new career-high. Lizzy Hill was another key player, going 6 of 7 on her way to 13 points.

Nokomis' win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Mt. Olive, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Nokomis and Greenfield/Northwestern will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nokomis is facing Greenfield/Northwestern at the right time seeing as Greenfield/Northwestern is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mt. Olive, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
