Basketball Recap: Humboldt/Open World Learning Comes Up Short

Humboldt/Open World Learning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the White Bear Lake Bears 54-10. While losing is never fun, Humboldt/Open World Learning can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while White Bear Lake is ranked 138th).

Humboldt/Open World Learning's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for White Bear Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Humboldt/Open World Learning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White Bear Lake, they will head out to take on Mounds View at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
