With a playoff win on the line, Valley View rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Newbury Park Panthers as they made off with a 5-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Valley View's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. As for Newbury Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Valley View will face off against Artesia at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Artesia will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Valley View surely won't give up without a fight. Newbury Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
