Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Lake Country Christian Eagles, falling 52-32. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 955th, while Lake Country Christian is ranked 325th).

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lake Country Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 22-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will face off against Lubbock Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lake Country Christian, they will challenge Midland Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Midland Classical Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
