Preview: Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals vs. University School Preppers
The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals and the University School Preppers will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy comes in on three and University School on four.
Last Saturday, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Brush, taking the game 61-52. Given Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Brush is ranked 339th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, University School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against North by a score of 85-73. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for University School, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over University School in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 69-61.
