Volleyball Recap: Caston Comes Up Short

Caston suffered their biggest loss since August 28th on Thursday. They came up short against the North White Vikings, falling 3-0. The Comets have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-17.

Natalie Warner paced Caston's offense, picking up seven kills. Warner were helped by Madisyn Douglass and Ellie Zartman, who contributed seven assists each.

Caston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for North White, their record is now 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caston will square off against North Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. As for North White, they will face off against Culver Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
