Mountain View is a perfect 10-0 against Dobson since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Toros will host the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mountain View has five straight victories, Dobson has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Mountain View was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty, taking the game 6-2.

Daniella Gloria spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Keelie Goodman was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Tierah Metcalf was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Mountain View lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post two or more home runs.
Meanwhile, Dobson lost 12-2 to Westwood on Tuesday.
Dobson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mersades Torres, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.
Dobson now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Dobson's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Mountain View has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Dobson, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 strikeouts. Will Mountain View keep running through batters, or will the Mustangs buck the trend?
Mountain View got the 'W' in their previous matchup on Monday against Dobson by a conclusive 21-1 score. Do the Toros have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
