Baseball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Thurston Colts. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 27-0 loss on Saturday.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Thurston, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Coming up, Springfield will face off against North Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thurston, they will take on Sunset at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
