Peyton entered their tilt with Burlington on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 10-3 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Zayden Ebbert was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Ebbert was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Peyton got a big performance out of Bryce Love, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brennan Christiansen, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Peyton's record now sits at 11-4. As for Burlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Peyton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against St. Mary's on the 28th. As for Burlington, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-3 defeat against Akron on the 27th.
