Volleyball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cowan Blackhawks. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blackhawks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-14.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Cowan, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9.

Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Winchester Community on the 27th. As for Cowan, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Blue River Valley on the 27th.
