Poca is 8-2 against Clay County since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dots will be playing at home against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Poca was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-47 to Point Pleasant.

Meanwhile, Clay County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 56-40 bruising from Herbert Hoover.

Clay County's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Poca, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Poca didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Clay County when the teams last played back in February of 2025, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win. Will the Dots repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
