Baseball Recap: Enterprise Starts Season with Loss at Home

Enterprise unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the University Prep Panthers on Thursday, falling 9-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Enterprise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Porter Fischer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Fischer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Coming up, Enterprise will face off against Trinity at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for University Prep, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
