Albion extends road losing streak to seven

Recap: Albion Purple Eagles vs. Wilson Lakemen

The Albion Purple Eagles lost against the Wilson Lakemen back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Albion took a serious blow against Wilson, falling 61-22. Albion was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.

Rian Faery was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 12 points, 14 rebounds, and ten assists for Wilson. Faery is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bella Thrush, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Albion bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wilson, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Albion will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wilson at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Wilson, they will head out on the road to face off against Barker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
