Baseball Game Preview: Winneconne Wolves vs. Ripon Tigers

The Winneconne Wolves will face off against the Ripon Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Ripon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Winneconne, who comes in off a win.

Winneconne took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Xavier, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves won by a run and slipped past the Hawks 4-3. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah Bouras was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Walker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Ripon didn't have quite enough to beat Central Wisconsin Christian on Thursday and fell 7-6.

Braden Dudzinski made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Winneconne, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
