Baseball Recap: Bruton Takes a Loss

Bruton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Lafayette Rams. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Bruton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Muller, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Bruton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Lafayette, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

As of now, neither Bruton nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
