Football Recap: Montebello Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Montebello unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 55-14 loss at the hands of the Norwalk Lancers on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Diego Cerritos was a one-man wrecking crew For Norwalk. as he rushed for 208 yards and four scores on only 15 carries. Cerritos' longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Keshawn Williams, who rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown.

Looking ahead, Montebello will be playing at home against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Norwalk, they will challenge Santa Fe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
