Basketball Recap: Jordan Demond's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Babcock over North Port + How To Watch

The Babcock Trailblazers didn't have quite enough to beat the North Port Bobcats on Tuesday and fell 52-49.

Babcock's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan DeMond, who went 7-for-10 en route to 19 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, DeMond now owns an excellent 47.9% shooting accuracy. Finn Habing was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 15 points and three steals.

Babcock's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Port, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Babcock will be playing at home against Marco Island Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Port, they will take on Northwestern at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday.
