Volleyball Recap: L.W. Higgins Comes Up Short

L.W. Higgins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the East Jefferson Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

L.W. Higgins' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Jefferson, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Coming up, L.W. Higgins will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against McDonogh 35 at 5:30 p.m. As for East Jefferson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Carver Collegiate Academy on the 15th.
