Football Recap: Whitehouse Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Whitehouse had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Wilson 47-15. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Whitehouse's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 187th, while Wilson is ranked 604th).

Jojo Adams was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 236 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 110 yards and one score on only six carries. Whitehouse's leading receiver Muhammad Diarra was Adams' top target yet again, picking up 122 receiving yards and three TDs.

Coming up, Whitehouse will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Kilgore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson, they will head out on the road to square off against Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
